When North Ridge Development Corporation expressed interest in Pinkwood, the first PinkJoist package was supplied in Martensville by Warman Home Centre, Pinkwood’s brand new dealer in Saskatchewan.
Gordon Rutten, the Mayor of Martensville, Monique Levesque-Phanroah from the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation in Winnipeg along with the Martensville fire department and the Saskatoon fire officials came out to see how North Ridge is improving new home construction in Saskatchewan by installing fire, mold and moisture resistant PinkJoist in their homes. North Ridge is offering the PinkJoist as a standard in their new homes giving home buyers yet another reason to choose a home built by North Ridge.
The launch of the PinkJoist by North Ridge included an official burn demonstration by Pinkwood. Everyone in attendance was thoroughly impressed with how the PinkJoist stood up to the bare I-joist in the burn demonstration.
